Breezing into Ruby Coco from Dusseldorf’s chicest street, we challenge you not to slip into a nonchalant strut.
Flanked by antique sewing machines, the runway-like approach is just asking for a sneaky sashay. So, bags down and best foot forward.
Inspired by the one and only Mlle. Chanel, Coco’s surrounded by the biggest names in fashion, whose stores line leafy Königsallee, affectionately known as the Kö.
Just like our muse, our style’s understated and elegant, mixing monochrome with muted tones, eclectic textures and playful accessories.
Her influence even extends to the black quilted bar, where cocktails accompany tasty snacks, and breakfast is paired with barista coffee.
Outside, we’ve channelled our inner Parisian to create a café-style roof terrace, complete with lavender for a subtle scent on summer evenings.
Each room at Coco reflects our Lean Luxury style, with a big, comfy bed, a rainfall shower and soft, fluffy towels, plus a few smart extras like a Marshall amp.
A short walk from the old town and Ratinger Strasse, Coco’s a four-minute hop from the main station and 20 minutes from the airport.
24-Hour Bar
Drawing on Coco Chanel’s charm and creativity, the 24-hour bar is an inspiring space where people come together to share tall tales and grand plans, catch an up-and-coming band or just unwind with a skilfully shaken cocktail.
Find an armchair in a cosy nook, grab a table or perch at the bar – our designers have made sure there’s a comfy spot for everyone.
Roof Terrace
For a break from the hustle and bustle, head out to the roof terrace. Combining Parisian style and the gentle scent of lavender, it’s a soothing spot to catch your breath between shopping sprees.
Start your day with an al fresco breakfast, spend a lazy afternoon basking with a book or kick back with a cocktail on a sunny evening.

Breakfast
Our healthy, locally sourced breakfast buffet with fresh barista coffee and organic tea will set you up for the day ahead.
Tuck into fresh fruit and superfood cereals, along with wholegrain bread from the local bakery, and a delicious selection of meats and cheeses.
Our favourite is the local speciality, mett. Not for the faint-hearted, this raw minced pork packs a flavoursome punch.
Breakfast costs €20 when booking online or €24 on-site.
Galley
Fancy a drink, forgotten your toothbrush or need a quick ironing fix? Head to a Galley – they’re on every floor.
There, you’ll find hot water and free organic tea, along with an ironing board and iron.
There’s also a Maxi Bar where you can buy everything from soft drinks and snacks to an umbrella or a toothbrush.
Guest Perks
Music’s a big part of life at Coco. That’s why you can hire an electric guitar for an impromptu jam, tune into Ruby Radio in your room and even catch live acts in the bar.

Loved your stay? Now get the goodies. From tea, coffee and scented candles to Ruby Care shampoos and shower gels, you’ll find all you need to unwind when you get home.

Sustainability
Since the start, we’ve taken lots of steps to be sustainable. From choosing renewable energy to streamlining systems to reduce paper use, some of it’s behind the scenes.
In your room though, you’ll notice smart lighting and refillable Ruby Care amenity bottles, along with renewable natural materials like wood panelling and flooring. Where possible, we also rescue and restore second-hand furniture to add character and cut our carbon footprint.
We’re lucky enough to have some brilliant local suppliers in our home cities. That means we can keep our food and drink miles down on everything from breakfast treats to beer and wine.

Coco’s central spot on Dusseldorf’s famous Königsallee makes it the ideal starting point for a day of window shopping, café-hopping and people-watching. If you fancy exploring slightly further afield, the riverfront promenade’s a short stroll away and home to several bars and – on sunny evenings – basking locals.
For a culture fix, follow your nose north along the Rhine then dive back inland to the old town with its art museums and opera house. And when it’s time to wet your whistle, grab a spot at a bar and sample the city’s famous Altbier or head to Ratinger Strasse and make a night of it.
Steinstrasse station is right outside the hotel, with the city’s central station a three-minute hop on the U-Bahn or a 12-minute walk away. The trip to the airport takes 16 minutes by S-Bahn and U-Bahn with one quick change en route.

Ruby Coco guests can park at the parking garage Kreuzstrasse, just a three minutes walk from our front door.
A 24-hour ticket costs €23. Simply park your car and get a regular ticket.

Good to know
- All rooms are designed for one to max. two persons.
- All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
- Arrival: Check-In from 3 pm. Sometimes we manage to clean and disinfect your room earlier but we cannot guarantee this.
- Your suitcases can be stored at the hotel until the room is ready.
- Departure: Please note that your room must be vacated until 11 am.
